 the days of the Old Testament Elijah would be repeating in the last days. Ahab was the King of Israel in the time of Elijah whilst Ahab’s wife (Jezebel) was the power behind the scenes manipulating Ahab which caused all of Israel to go into apostasy.

Elijah was sent to Israel to restore them back to the true God that they had forsaken. Elijah’s restoration message achieved its purpose in the lives of a select few Israelites, but at the same time it was a message of judgment to those that rejected it. Israel was smitten with a famine, the false prophets of the Baal worship religion were killed, Ahab was wounded in battle (and later died) and Jezebel was thrown from a wall and trampled by the horses pulling Jehu’s chariot.

The man God chose to be the end time prophet with the spirit of Elijah was William Marrion Branham. Born April 6, 1909 in Kentucky, USA, William Branham was a child destined to be the greatest prophet with the greatest ministry the world ever saw outside of Jesus Christ. This was the man God chose to forerun the second coming of Jesus Christ; his ministry had more supernatural and was more successful than what Jesus had 2000 years before. The success of the ministry and the supernatural that accompanied it was not because of William Branham, it was because the Lord Jesus was living in the prophet and proving to the world that He (Jesus) had come in the form of His Word to restore His chosen people back to the pure Word of Himself, and then Rapture such a people into His presence before the world is destroyed.

Much has been written and spoken concerning the life of this humble man, who with only a seventh-grade education swept the world with a healing revival and then shook the world with revelations that had been kept a secret since the world began. Such was the ministry of this prophet, a man commissioned by an angel in 1946 to take a gift of divine healing around the world, and later was commissioned in 1963 to reveal the mysterious seven seals after being caught up into a constellation of seven heavenly angels that formed the famous supernatural Cloud photographed on February 28, 1963; this same Cloud revealed the face of the Lord Jesus, the face of the One whom the prophet was sent to announce had come.

Revelation 10: 7: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

William Branham was the seventh angel, the angel (messenger) to the seventh church age of Laodicea (Revelation 3: 14) whose restorative message would reveal the mystery of God (who God is): the Godhead. The Church in the Book of Acts new that Jehovah of the Old Testament was Jesus of the New Testament and thus baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2: 38), but this revelation was eventually lost when the Romish church spread the error of its trinity teaching that eventually became an accepted “truth”.

The message of the prophet was to reveal God and the secrets that were in the back part of God’s mind. This great revelation of God was unfolded from 1947 to 1965 as the prophet preached hundreds of sermons throughout the world, proving by the scripture with signs and wonders accompanying that the Lord Jesus is still in our midst. William Branham died on December 24, 1965, but his message continues on to this day. His ministry fulfilled the first part of Malachi 4: 6, of turning the heart of the fathers to the children; Jesus confirms this in Luke 1: 17: And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. The apostolic fathers of Pentecost in the Book of Acts took John’s message of the present Lord Jesus and preached it to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles; these were the spiritual children being raised in the faith of Christ and His redemptive work.

The second part of Malachi 4: 6, of turning the heart of the children to their fathers was to be fulfilled approximately 2000 years in the future, when in the last days a Gentile prophet would come with the spirit of Elijah upon him to turn the heart of God’s elect children back to the original faith that the apostolic fathers had at Pentecost. The original faith had to be restored because the 2000-year interval had been filled with many false teachings propagated by the Catholic Church that deceived the people and enveloped the world in spiritual darkness. Thus the evening time message of William Branham was the light prophesied by the prophet Zechariah that would shine in the evening time (Zechariah 14: 6 – 7: And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.).

Bibles are printed in abundance, the material is pumped worldwide promoting the Bible and a multitude of international ministries spread the Gospel, yet there is a massive lack of true teaching that points the people back to God and His perfect provided way. The majority of the global populace is not interested in the things of God, so when God sent William Branham with a message that runs true from Genesis to Revelation, only a select few (the elect of God) received it, accepted it and let it become flesh in their lives.

This great spiritual famine for the Truth of God’s Word is taking place when America (represented by King Ahab) is in a marriage covenant with the Vatican (represented by Queen Jezebel). The Vatican is the headquarters of Roman Catholicism; it is the richest nation on earth and behind the scenes is responsible for orchestrating world events that ultimately play into its hands;this is grandly illustrated in 1 Kings 21: 7 – 10: And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite. So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth. And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people: And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die. Naboth represents the Jewish people whilst the vineyard is the nation of Israel that America (Ahab) wants to take possession of. It was Jezebel that wrote letters sealed with Ahab’s seal to bring about the death of Naboth so that Ahab might have the vineyard. It is the Vatican orchestrating the unrest in the Middle East to turn the world against Israel. The American President is but a puppet who says and does what the Vatican has ordered because the American seal has been stamped by a Vatican hand.

The conspiracy to take Naboth’s vineyard was shown to Elijah by God;Elijah then pronounced judgment upon Ahab and Jezebel for their wickedness and for the blood that they had shed (1 Kings 21: 17 – 23). William Branham was likewise shown the destruction of America and the Vatican. In 1933 William Branham had seven visions, the seventh of those visions being the United States covered with atomic craters, and in 1954 he prophesied of the atomic destruction awaiting the Vatican. Elijah left the scene by his ascension to Heaven in 2 Kings 2 before Ahab and Jezebel were killed, but his prophecy of the coming judgment surely came to pass in its designated season; Ahab was the first to die (in 1 Kings 22), then his wife Jezebel died later (in 2 Kings 9). William Branham died in 1965, but his prophecy of judgment upon America and the Vatican is about to be fulfilled. God has raised up Russia to execute His wrath upon the modern Ahab and Jezebel. As Ahab was the first to die, so too will America be the first to be destroyed when Russia invades America and shortly afterward annihilates it with nuclear weapons during the Tribulation. The Vatican will be destroyed after the Tribulation, at Armageddon, when Russia turns against the Vatican and launches a nuclear missile that will burn the city-state to dust in less than an hour (Revelation 18: 10).

Such were the days of Elijah the prophet: apostasy had gripped Israel, the leaders of the nation (King Ahab and Queen Jezebel) had permitted the spread of this spiritual darkness, Syria in the north was a rising threat against the nation, and the faithful Jews were enduring persecution for their remaining true to God. The days of Elijah the prophet are the same as the days of the prophet William Branham:apostasy has spread across the earth, the leaders of the nations have composed the legislature to allow the growth of this evil to spread, Russia in the north is a rising threat in the world, and the true Christians who follow the message of the end time prophet are slowly being turned upon by the political system so that very soon they will be hunted down like dogs just before they are raptured into the presence of God (1 Thessalonians 4: 16 – 17).

Malachi 4: 6: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

The final statement made by God in the Old Testament was His promise to smite the earth with a curse if the people rejected the message of the last day’s prophet. God smote the earth with a curse in the form of the Great Flood when the people rejected the message of the prophet Noah, and God will smite the earth with a curse in the form of the Great Tribulation that becomes Armageddon when the seven vials filled with the plagues of God’s wrath (Revelation 16) are poured out upon the earth to destroy those people who refused the Word for their day. This is a very serious time to be living in; now is the time to find safety in Christ by receiving His Word; His Word is made known by the prophet He sent to the age, that prophet is William Branham (Amos 3: 7: Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.).
